This website is purely informational. It uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools and no contact form, and it embeds no content from third parties. Fonts are loaded from our own server. Visiting this website does not open a connection to any third-party server. We do not intend to transfer your data to countries outside the EU or EEA.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the host in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

When you access the website, our host’s server automatically processes technical access data: IP address, date and time of access, requested page or file, amount of data transferred, HTTP status code, referrer URL, and browser type, operating system and device type. According to IONOS, the IP address is stored only in anonymised form in the access logs.

The purpose is to deliver the website and to keep it stable and secure, for example to fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in these purposes. IONOS deletes the log files automatically after no more than eight weeks. They are kept longer only if a specific security incident requires it for evidence.

4. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (for example email address, name, phone number and the content of your message) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or steps prior to entering into one, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply, in particular the retention periods under German commercial and tax law (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO: six years for business correspondence, eight years for accounting records such as invoices). Our email service is operated on our behalf by IONOS SE.

5. Links to other websites

This website links to our own sites www.navis-neptun.de and livoxtech.de. The respective site is only contacted when you click a link. Your browser then transmits, among other things, your IP address and, as the origin, only the address https://www.gebrueder-kraus.com, not the specific page. Processing on those sites is governed by their own privacy policies.

You have the right to

• rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR)

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.

7. No obligation to provide data, no automated decision-making

You are not required by law or contract to provide personal data. Without the log file data, however, the website cannot be delivered. We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling.
